Accessibility Statement
How we make our site usable for everyone — and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

The short version
- We want everyone to be able to shop for flowers and balloons on our site.
- We design to the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and test with keyboard, phone and screen sizes from 375px up.
- The accessibility button (bottom right) lets you enlarge text, raise contrast, pause animations and more.
- Having trouble? Call (717) 341-4678 and we’ll take your order by phone.
Our commitment
Mia’s Flower Shop & Gifts wants miasflowershop.com to be easy to use for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we’ve done
- Text and buttons use strong color contrast; buttons and links are large enough to tap easily.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages use clear headings, form fields have visible labels, and errors explain how to fix them.
- Product photos have text descriptions, and prices and sizes are written out — not shown only in images.
- Animations are kept to a minimum and turn off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- The layout works from small phones to large screens without sideways scrolling.
Accessibility tools on this site
The accessibility button at the bottom right of every page opens tools to adjust the site to your needs: bigger text and line spacing, readable font, high contrast or grayscale, highlighted links, a reading mask, larger focus outlines, hidden images and paused animations. Your choices are saved in your browser. These tools are an extra help — we design the site to be accessible without them.
Known limitations
- Some product photos come from our floral suppliers and their descriptions may be brief. Call us for details about any design.
- Some parts of the site are provided by other companies — the Square payment fields, the Google Map and the cookie banner — and we can’t fully control their accessibility. If one of them blocks you, contact us and we’ll complete your order another way.
