About these terms

These terms apply when you browse miasflowershop.com or place an order with Mia’s Flower Shop & Gifts (“Mia’s”, “we”, “us”), 614 N Duke St, Lancaster, PA 17602. By placing an order, by phone, in the shop or online, you agree to these terms, to our Refund & Replacement Policy and to our Privacy Policy.

Orders

After you order online you’ll receive an email confirming that we received it. We review every order before preparing it. If we can’t fill an order as placed — for example, a delivery address outside our area, a date we’re closed or fully booked, or a clear pricing error — we’ll contact you to adjust it or cancel it with a full refund.

Please double-check the recipient’s name, address and phone number, the delivery date and the card message. We prepare and deliver exactly what you enter.

Prices, taxes & payment

• Prices shown are in US dollars and are for the product only.
• The delivery fee depends on the distance from our shop to the delivery ZIP code and is shown at checkout before you pay. Current fees are listed on our Delivery page. Pickup at the shop is free.
• Pennsylvania sales tax is added where required by law.
• Some designs (prom, weddings, events, custom work) are priced by consultation; we confirm the price with you before you pay.
• Online payments are made by card at checkout and processed securely by Square. Orders placed by phone or in person can be paid at the shop. We don’t store full card numbers.

Sizes, photos & substitutions

Many arrangements come in Standard, Deluxe and Premium sizes. Deluxe is the design as pictured; Standard is a little smaller and Premium larger and fuller.

Each design is handcrafted, so no two are exactly alike and photos are a guide to style. Flower availability changes with the season and the market, so we may substitute flowers, colors or containers of equal or greater value, always keeping the overall look, color palette and value of what you chose. Balloon colors, characters and number shapes depend on what’s in stock; if your choice isn’t available we’ll suggest the closest option.

Delivery

• Who delivers: our team or an independent courier service such as DoorDash. We share only what the driver needs to complete the delivery (recipient name, address, phone and instructions).
• Area and fees: we deliver to Lancaster and nearby towns within about 15 miles of our shop. Outside that area, call us and we’ll do our best.
• Timing: we deliver on the date you choose. The preferred time window is a request we try hard to meet, not a guarantee. On busy holidays such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, deliveries run throughout the day.
• Recipient not available: if no one answers, we may leave the order in a safe, shaded spot, with a neighbor or at a front desk, and we’ll let you know. If we can’t leave it safely, we’ll contact you to arrange a new delivery; an extra delivery fee may apply.
• Incorrect information: if an address or phone number is wrong or incomplete, a redelivery fee may apply.
• Funeral homes, churches and hospitals: please include the service date and time. Some hospital units (for example intensive care) don’t accept flowers, plants or latex balloons; in that case we’ll contact you about a new address or a refund of the undelivered items.

Store pickup

Pickup at 614 N Duke St is free. Please come on the date you selected during shop hours; we’ll call if anything changes. Flowers are perishable, so orders not picked up within one day may no longer be in their best condition and can’t be refunded.

Balloons & safety

• Helium float time varies with temperature and handling: latex balloons usually float for hours, foil balloons for several days. Float time isn’t guaranteed.
• Choking hazard: children under 8 can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons. Adult supervision is required; discard broken balloons right away.
• Foil balloons conduct electricity — keep them away from power lines, and please don’t release balloons outdoors.

Events, weddings & rentals

Wedding flowers, event décor, balloon installations and decoration rentals are confirmed with a written quote. The quote sets the price, deposit, schedule, setup and pickup times and cancellation terms, and it takes priority over these general terms. Rental items remain our property; damaged or missing items may be charged at replacement cost.

Flowers, plants & pets

Some flowers and plants can cause allergies, and some are toxic to pets — lilies, for example, are dangerous to cats. If that’s a concern, tell us when you order and we’ll design without them. We aren’t responsible for reactions to flowers or plants that were part of the design you chose.

Using our website

Please use the site only for lawful purposes and give accurate information when you order or contact us. Photos, text, logos and designs on this site belong to Mia’s or to the people who licensed them to us, and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Some product photos are provided by our floral suppliers to illustrate a design.

Reviews and photos you send us may be shared on our website or social media with your first name and last initial. You can ask us to remove them at any time.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute will be handled by the courts located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. If you have a problem, please call us first — most things are solved with a conversation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its “last updated” date, applies to orders placed after that date.
